A well stocked bar is essential for entertaining. Here are a few ideas from our bar. Some spirits not pictured are vodka, bourbon, cassis, and vermouth to name a few. Two staples for our bar are Campari and Fernet. I always have Grand Mariner on hand as I cook with it more than drink it, but my husband makes an incredible margarita when our citrus is in season and always does a floater of Grand Marnier. You will always find a bottle of Myer’s Dark Rum, again this is used for baking. We like Diplomatico Rum for the occasional rum drink or to toast to my grandmother as she LOVED rum. We also love single malt whisky and I am a peaty fan which means I like my whisky smokey. Hence, our daughter’s name, Isla.
