minutesI make French Toast regularly for me kids. I use really good challah bread and if I can’t find that then I will use really good cinnamon raisin bread. Challah bread works the best. It soaks up the custard and baked crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. I was making this for my kids the other day and my daughter is a big fan of pumpkin spice so she makes herself pumpkin spice hot cocoa. I decided to incorporate her pumpkin spice syrup into the egg, half and half, cinnamon mixture. It made for a very good experiment. The kids raved. So get creative as those syrups come in many flavors, you can easily jazz up your pancakes, waffles or and French Toast.
