My daughter loves to make smoothies. She makes really good smoothies and is quite creative. She uses what she finds in the refrigerator. To be honest, for years, I was not a fan of smoothies. For both my pregnancies, I was very ill the whole time and couldn’t eat or smell anything. When I was pregnant with my first child, the doctor suggested I try and drink smoothies packed with berries, kale, avocado, banana and almond butter. We went to some fancy smoothie bar in San Francisco and as I sipped it, I proceeded to throw it up as we were driving home over the Golden Gate Bridge. Since then, I have never been a smoothie fan.

My daughter is a huge fan of Erewhon. It has her inspired her to make such good smoothies. It took me a couple to be able to enjoy only because of my past with smoothies. She really put’s good thought into them and they are healthy but also taste good.

We love Bonne Maman Jams, so we keep the jars and lids and really it is a great way to keep the smoothies fresh and air tight. It is also a great way to travel with them or sometimes she takes them to school and has it as her snack with some fresh made banana bread.
